 t Westerflier\n Indringende passie uit Georgië\n\n In 2017 heeft de Geo
 rgische pianiste Ketevan Sharumashvili ons land als haar thuisbasis gekoze
 n en is sindsdien bezig aan een ware opmars. Geroemd om haar fabelachtige 
 techniek speelt ze zeer sensitief\, krachtig en oprecht en weet zo door te
  dringen tot de diepere lagen van de ziel.\n\nKetevan\, geboren en getogen
  in Tbilisi\, genoot een imposante opleiding. Ze verwierf twee masters en 
 het zeer veeleisende diploma van ‘Concertpianiste’ in respectievelijk 
 Tbilisi\, Hamburg en Amsterdam\, waar ze een studente was van pianogigant 
 Jan Wijn.\n\nBijzonder is dat Ketevan pas op twaalfjarige leeftijd met haa
 r pianostudie begon\, en al op haar veertiende het Rubinstein Concours in 
 Parijs wist te winnen.\n\nInmiddels is ze prijswinnares van meerdere inter
 nationale competities in Frankrijk\, Italië\, Griekenland en Nederland. Z
 e won onder andere de ‘Soroptimist Prijs’ bij de Viotti Competitie in
  Vercelli - Italië\, en de Pianale competitie in Duitsland.\n\nKetevan v
 olgde ook Masterclasses bij meesterpianisten waaronder Paul Badura-Skoda\,
  Tamás Vásáry en Boris Berman die allen onder de indruk waren van haar 
 eigen gevoelige spel en virtuositeit.\n\nIn 2022 verscheen een CD met werk
 en van Antilliaanse componisten (Ne m’oubliez pas).\n\nIn 2024 bracht ze
  een solo CD uit getiteld "Connected" bij het label Zefir waarop pianotran
 scripties van bekende componisten als Bach\, Schubert\, Rachmaninoff maar 
 ook Gershwin\, Trenet en Piazzolla.\n\nProgramma:\n\nAlessandro Marcello (
